A Review on Camry – Best Selling Car In USA

Toyota Camry has been contributing to Toyota with the highest number of sales since 1997 and as the bestselling car in U.S.A. Besides being the best-selling midsize car, Camry is ranked second in the most affordable cars in U.S. Another nice thing to know about Camry, it is the best vehicle by Toyota that has highest sales in the country. Not only in the U.S but Camry also has higher sales in Australia and Asian countries. The front-wheel-drive Camry first appeared on roads in 1983 replacing the old rear-wheel-drive Corona. Today, Camry rules the midsize car segment having sales more than any other automaker in the same segment. Since the beginning, Camry has greatly improved every time it was redesigned for upcoming years.

What makes Camry 2013 different?
Toyota has redesigned the car regularly every 5 years. The Camry has achieved a dominant position as the baseline sedan of choice; quiet, smooth, relaxed, dependable and reasonably priced. While the new 2013 Camry offers better fuel economy and value, the seventh-generation Camry is designed to keep up all those traits. Okane, the head engineer of Camry assures that the 2013 car, including every engine, will at least achieve equal score to qualify for leadership in fuel efficiency.

Performance:
The base model comprises 4-cylinder engine and goes 25 miles per gallon in the city while 35 miles per gallon on the highway. The new hybrid LE does better than Ford Fusion from 31/35 miles per gallon to 43/39 miles per gallon. The V-6 engine is boosted up 1 mile per gallon therefore relying on four cylinder strategy only like Sonata would not work for Camry. All these improvements have been achieved without direct fuel injection, turbocharging and reduced engine by the company.
Oppositely, Toyota relied on very core areas such as electric power steering, higher gears, thinner sheet metal, 155-pound diet and slighter rolling resistance. Both, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and 3.5-liter V-6 engines are the same. Hybrid LE enjoys a better economical Atkinson-cycle engine boasting an electric water pump, better electric-motor utilization, more-efficient regenerative braking and reduces extra 66 pounds. This Camry is not exceptional, but it appears stable version than forerunner. Regardless of its reduced weight, the other aspect ratios of car including wheelbase are same.

Toyota Camry 2013 Interior:
The interior packs a spacious and convenient cabin. The LE hybrid yields from a shrink and repositioned electronics package, widening the trunk room to 13 cubic feet, which was 11 in the former. In some other models there is 15 cubic feet of trunk space. Luckily, best selling Camry car retains the mode towards low cost supplies that have been witnessed on several vehicles of Toyota. New stratified front dashboard with real striping on its opening end has enhanced the feel.

Other Options:
Big, ergonomically molded steering panel with handy controls help to use the additional electronics. Camry has many models such as L, LE, hybrid LE, hybrid XLE, SE, XLE, SE V-6, and XLE V-6 but we liked the SE more. SE models come with French-striped stuffing, more useful seat cushions, a neater grille, and much less chroming. SE models also have a conspicuously sturdier suspension and a swifter steering gear. As you would expect see the V-6 SE as faster, but the 4-cylinder remains lighter on wheels.
